A science fiction comic drama

SPACE STATION 76 takes the viewer on a unique journey into the future from the cultural viewpoint of the '70s but never loses track of our 2014 selves. The futuristic spaceship environment is sleek, beautiful and cold where one expects Captain Kirk pursued by Chewbacca to come round the corner. However, he doesn't. The super hero is replaced with a very human, gorgeous cast of characters who reveal themselves struggling with sexual frustrations, ambition, jealousy and loneliness as they try to find their place in the universe. The continuous laughs along the way from the slapstick of a mechanical hand groping out of control to the satire of the not so helpful but cute robot psychiatrist, make watching their pain bearable. At the center of the action is an adorable little girl named Sunshine whose resiliency gives hope to the journey. Get yourself some white go go boots and find a showing of SPACE STATION 76 to enjoy.
